New Car

So I'm talking to my baby today, Princess Senayet. And I had the television on. She sees a car commercial and says that she wants a new car. I tell you the power of persuasion (i.e. advertising) really does work if it had my 5 year old saying she wants a new car. *shakin head*.
She she's going on about a new car and so I ask her, "you want a new car huh?"

And she says "yes, I want a car. I want a red car."

I guess she is her mothers child, cuz I was thinking a red car would like nice on me. *chuckle*

Then I ask her, "are you going to buy a car?"

and she says "yes."

So I'm thinking, or rather trying to get her to see that you can't just buy stuff, cuz sh*t cost money.

Well I ask her "do you have any money to buy a car?"

She says "yeesss," in her sweet voice, like she's got a secret tell.

I then ask her, "where is your money?"

Well ol' girl set me straight, cuz she said, "in Daddy's pocket."

HA! Yall know I was crackin up. I couldn't argue with her there. So I'll be sure to tell Daddy when he gets home that our new car money is in his pocket.
